Style of the day: the brown Vichy coat

What about a brown coat? I definitely have a few of them, but you know, brown is brown, classic, elegant and wearable all day long. I love this model because it’s long, but still not too long, very light and in the right earth shade. I found it during the black Friday and it was immediately mine. I like also the Vichy pattern, which is a big trend right now, but the truth is it will never go out of style. You can wear it with a nice, bright or black dress, even with jeans or an elegant suit. Now brown is inescapable. It’s everywhere. And having witnessed its rebirth firsthand, it actually has a lot going for it. Seventies connotations aside, brown is warm and surprisingly flattering. I love camel coats as much as the next outerwear fanatic, but if you want to take your top layer next level, brown is where it’s at this season.
