We really can’t do without them and honestly, hands down, sneakers have won us over completely. There are many reasons, but the main one is that they’re comfortable and they enable us to go through town briskly, to get things done and even go out in the evening. There are various models and some are intentionally ugly; I write this, because I want to preserve at least a degree of criticism, because while I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yet I still feel that the overly gigantic and prominent soles are not exactly the best choice for female feet. I’ll allow the possibility that it’s a matter of taste, so you may even be in their favor and power to you, if you know how to wear them. Since fashion is always on the lookout for new solutions, you can get away with lots of daring and fresh ideas.
Sneakers as socks
They’re actually made of synthetic fiber, so they seem like comfortable socks. You simply slide them on and you feel barefoot. Black is the predominant option and fashion suggests we even wear them with skirts and dresses. The basic rule is: the more shocking the combination, the better.

Running shoes instead of heels
It’s a bit strange, but girls actually wear them instead of heels, for instance with a slip on dress or an elegant version of the LBD. They’re not oversized, but it’s still clear their initial purpose was sports and not fashion. Nevertheless, why not opt for comfort…

Geometric sneakers
Louis Vuitton was the first to incorporate them into fashion, and the rest ensured that they became as popular as they are. They’re nothing, if not noticeable, and quirky enough to get such a positive reaction from the fashion crowd. I cannot say they’re beautiful, but I guess they’re comfortable and they definitely make sure everyone checks out your feet.

Platform sole sneakers
Just rough enough, some might say, or maybe a bit much, I would add myself. A platform sole is always a risky option, because it doesn’t suit every woman and it’s often difficult to wear. These sneakers get heavy quickly, which makes them uncomfortable, and truthfully, the whole thing gets a little bit better, if they’re Adidas.

In the abundance of quirky, white sneakers remain ever so trendy, very wearable and also good-looking. These simple models can be used to style everything, including a feminine and elegant pant suit. It’s a good thing that they’re here and fashion still treats them as an option!
