There is something to be said about women wearing at least a touch of pink. Perhaps because this is a color we associate with gentleness and a girly attitude towards life, as if we were saying to the world that there is still a child within us, and we’re taking good care of it. Usually, when I see a powder pink winter coat, it’s hard for me to just walk past it. Not only do I stop and take a closer look, I also try it on; and then it’s difficult not to buy it, but I don’t because I already have one at home. When it comes to pink, there is a myriad of shades: from pale and gentle to the almost sultry fuchsia. And which pink is fashionable? The answer is simple: all of them.
Pink looks gorgeous with black, a leather jacket or some lace, which makes it even more sophisticated. I love pink accessories, such as sandals and shearling lined shoes, or ones adorned with feathers, evening bags, thin belts etc. Pink is universal and it makes the whole world seem like a better place, there’s no doubt about it. To me, powder is a chapter of its own: it elongates the legs, gives the outfit a vintage vibe and makes us aristocratic (Nicole Kidman is living proof that pale pink is a universal and timeless color). What about the 1920’s style pieces with feathers, sequins or faux fur? They look even better, if they’re pink, of course. Fashion is bringing back the pantsuit, so head-to-toe pink, and the right shade is undoubtedly a great everyday choice, especially, if we add a bit of drama to the outfit with a basic shirt or flowers, polka dots, and stripes. If you need additional inspiration, go back to the Sex and the City; it may be an older show, but the fashion is timeless.
Pink does make the world a better place. Honestly, it’s a color that lifts your spirit; if you’re not completely confident, opt for accessories: hat, scarf, and gloves, perhaps pumps, or just a bag. It even looks good with burgundy, and a combination that would have been impossible a few years ago, is now at its peak. Pink color is like a good spice, you can use it everywhere and you won’t miss. My advice is an oversized or high neck woolen sweater, which you can wear underneath a blazer. Still, mind that the makeup is neutral, not pink, otherwise it will be overdone.
A pink world is such a feminine and beautiful concept that I will never get tired of it. Pink color is like an oasis of beauty in a constantly changing world.

When wearing a color like pink, try to remember that less is more.
Pink looks great, but it can sometimes be difficult to pair it with other colors.
Pink is a favorite color of many, but it can be difficult to know how to incorporate it into your look well. Recently, though, the color pink has become very trendy, showing up in clothing, accessories, and even makeup looks. If you want to wear pink, go for it!
Pair pinks with contrasting colors. While wearing pink with neutral colors is great when you want to look refined and elegant, pairing pink with a nice contrasting color can look great for a night out on the town.
