If you are looking for great style, then you have to start with the basic pieces. It means that it is fine and correct to look after fashionable items, but you have always to start with a simple, yet intelligent wardrobe, which consist in a couple of items that you can’t really miss. The good, high waisted pants, the pencil skirt, a nice summer dress, quality shoes and bags, some amazing blazers (in white, navy blue, black and blush), a very sexy pair of jeans and more. All in all it is a very simple, clean wardrobe with a lot of comfortable products.

They don’t have to be too short, otherwise they become a beach item, which is not good in everyday life. You have to choose the right material – cotton and linen are always the best – and the right length. There are brands that will always offer you the right pair of shorts and one of them is JCrew. It could be also a very simple, mannish one, but for this summer I prefer to opt for a feminine model. Look at Zimmermann and everything will be clear! Fine buttons, nice and light cotton or silk, amazing sleeves, maybe some lace, a touch of tulle and the work is done. The colour should be white, of course.

White and new and if you wear it oftenly know, that it will not last forever! So buy a lot of them and try to take care of the fiber. Of course you can opt for colours, pastels, polkadots, stripes and whatever your imagination likes, but the white one is a must have and you really have to own it.

As you probably know is the piece of this summer. No more bikini, tankini, trikini and so on, the one piece is elegant, sophisticated, feminine and always the right choice! Plus it keeps your tummy on its place, which is really good and you can wear it with jeans, a long skirt, or shorts. Amazing right?

The summer dress
I opt for a midi or long version of it. It could be in a nice pastel colour, or even more bold, of course white, simple, with frills, or plain. The choice is yours, you will find so many different models, so I guess it will not be impossibile to find the right one. I adore it with flat sandals and a small bag, this combination remains one of my favorite!

The boho bag
It means it’s light, maybe in raffia, cotton, or even silk. These bags are so nice, because usually they are bigger, so you can hide inside everything you want, also a good book to read on the beach. I love them, because summer is all about this lightness and changing your way of living.

Some really good jewellery
I opt for gold, which is my colour and I think it’s amazing with tanned skin. Big earrings, bold bracelets, big rings and long necklaces, which you can mix and layer. Add something white, like pearls or a moonstone, this combination is amazing as well. And yes, in this case it’s not true, that less is more…be bold!

The slip on sandals
They have to be in leather, super comfy, but also elegant. Don’t miss the chance to wear an amazing, red nail polish and a pair of white, gold or brown flat sandals. They are better than flip flops, which are just for the beach and you can wear them also for an elegant evening, with a long skirt, or a super romantic boho dress.
