Dear readers,
Christmas is much more than simply a day. It is a state of mind, an uplifting, spiritually charged season that changes many people into joy-filled, happy adult-children. True, our world is far from perfect, but Christmas has its way of weaving a miraculous spell over all things, suddenly making them gentler, more peaceful, even glorious. We are ordinary mortals living ordinary lives. Acts of love and kindness though, make ordinary mortals extraordinary. As W.C.Jones wrote:” The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing others’ loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of the holidays“.
