The poncho’s wide shape needs to be balanced out by the right styling. As for the bottom, the easiest way to style a poncho is to wear it with skinny jeans or slim trousers. Because a poncho is rather billowy itself, wearing something fit on your bottom will balance your outfit’s volume and won’t make you look like a balloon. I have opted for something in between: the knitwear skirt is not flare or too tight, is just the right one for my body type. If your poncho is long enough and hits below hip, you can wear it with leggings and ankle boots or, for a cozier feel, knee high socks and riding boots.
My style is as follows: poncho, blousa and skirt Chicwish, bag and shoes Mango, rings Monica Vinader.
