Skirts that are shorts akre skorts. The skirt-shorts hybrid was originally designed with the sole purpose of allowing females to ride bicycles more comfortably, and they were far from fashionable. While the skort has a rich history that goes back centuries, there’s no denying the innovative bottom was a ’90s wardrobe staple. I’m pleased to report the skort is making a comeback. The addition of hidden shorts greatly reduces our anxiety over a swift summer breeze coming along and putting on a show. Unlike the skorts of our past, the 2021 trend generally falls into two categories: super sporty or sleek and sophisticated. Mine is definitely chic and I love the flower print with a touch of orange. I still can’t decide if this kind of skort is nice also with sneakers…I think the best is to wear it with some heels.
