Seven hairstyles that never go out of style

Although fashion always dictates new colours and shapes, some of us are more traditional and swear by eternally classical hairstyles. Even so, small changes are necessary with age, in my opinion, and most importantly, age requires more hair care. While we used to believe that women after the age of 45 must wear their hair short, we now believe that it is perfectly suitable that their hair reaches the small of their back; what’s important is that the hair is beautiful, shiny and well nourished. Healthy hair truly allows for everything, so pay attention to your diet and vitamin supplements, which you should definitely take regularly after the age of 30. Not just because of your hair but your nails as well, or they might get brittle as well. If you’re not one for a drastic change in your hairstyle, check out the styles below ‒ they’ll never go out of style, plus there is an extra advantage: they look good on almost every woman. Maybe you’ll find one for yourself.

Very short, Audrey style

I’ve always liked this style, I’ll admit, however, I’m not brave enough to get this cut for myself; I just feel like I would miss my long hair. Short is beautiful, because it’s sexy and practical, and if the face is beautiful as well, all the better, because this type of hairstyle emphasises it really well.

Same length with a side parting

This is a good solution for women who don’t have a lot of hair; it’s a style that doesn’t require much attention or a blow dry ‒ it’s supposed to be slightly messy rather than totally polished. If your face is oval, this style is not for you, because it visually elongates.

Bob with soft bangs

A bob that isn’t too long and has soft bangs is definitely a style that compliments every woman. The exception are those with a strong, square jaw, but for everyone else it’s a welcome look. It radiates youth and neatness, so try it.

Shoulder length waves

The waves should look really natural, so it’s a style that shouldn’t be as perfect as if you just stepped out of a hair salon. This is another one that’s ideal for women, who don’t have a lot of hair, because it creates volume; and if the tips are highlighted, all the better.

Hollywood style

It’s difficult to find another expression for longer, slightly wavy and very voluminous hair … You should have a lot of well maintained hair for this style, because it’s rather long. J.Lo’s style is simply flawless, it exudes sexiness and youth; it does require more time, but it’s worth it in the end.

Long hair and bangs

Your hair should be healthy and well maintained hair for this one, because it’s completely straight, which brings more attention to any split ends or other imperfections. If you’re older, you should avoid this style, because it has no volume and this tends to age you.

Simple with a centre parting

The hair can be shoulder length or longer, it doesn’t really matter. The most important thing is the centre parting, because it looks gracious and symmetrical; but it does work best on oval faces, because it softens the look.
