How To Look Youthful And Chic After 50

Great style is possible no matter how old you are—the key is knowing how to flaunt your body and sensibility in a way that works for you. Everyone should be timeless, chic, and sophisticated. Some staples you should have are a white blazer, a cream blouse, and a black sweater; pieces that won’t fade away. Accessories are fun! While they are of course functional, they can be transformational for your outfit. I think that after a certain age your skirt should really be at or below the knee, no matter how beautiful your legs are. It looks more appropriate and it doesn’t look like you’re trying to look young. Here we go with some easy and quick solutions for women after 50.

Try the mannish style

Just take some nice pieces from you man wardrobe. A white blouse, a nice jacket, a good pair of boyfriend jeans or pants. And wear them in a super sexy way, as you already know.

The palazzo pants

They always make your legs look longer and thinner, so here we go, you really have to get some good models and prints for your figure. My inspiration is Rachel Zoe, the super famous stylist and no, she isn’t tall at all!

The high waisted pants

They are so nice and feminine, that you can wear them now and forever. Try them with a simple blouse and a blazer, or maybe a long coat. Not slim, just comfy and long enough they will make your figure gentle and smooth.

The power of silk

Even if you adore sneakers, there is always a way to remain sophisticated. And silk is “the way”. Invest in a nice blouse, maybe with a bow, or a top with some lace, you will find infine ways to wear them both. Even if the shoes are not stiletto ones.

Jeand and luxury accessorises

Of course I know that everybody loves to wear jeans and yes, you can surly wear it at every age. But try to pair it with some really good accessorises, so that they look glamour and fancy. A designer belt, a nice bag, some really good leather shoes, they always work with a simple pair of jeans.

A bit of casual, but never too much

I think a blazer is always a good solution. You can wear it with high heels or sneakers, pants or jeans, maybe add a nice brooch and you will be perfect. I suggest a Chanel vintage one, because it is always a good, intelligent investment.
