As you already know the teddy, fluffy coat is a big trend of this winter. Cozy, soft and colorful it helps us to get in a better mood. We have seen it the past year and it was as well a big thing, but now teddies are becoming even more popular. The fact is, that you can just trow them in your car, have them on the back sit and they always look fabulous. The best choice is the brown one, midi size and long enough to be warm (not every teddy is warm enough, it depends on the quality of the material), but you can play also with pastels and new shades, like pink, light blue, green and white.

Secondly we have the loafers, a very interesting shoes model. The style has been around for generations and is often worn with perfectly cropped ankle-length trousers. Mine are with some original animal print, but also in electric blue (JCrew had this model a couple of years ago). This winter, we’ve seen quite a few Parisiennes around with Chanel’s latest style, but if that’s not in the budget, there are sophisticated iterations available on the high street, too.

What I love most about loafers and teddy coats is the possibility to wear them with jeans. And still create a very nice, elegant, original outfit. Blue jeans, a merino sweater and a pair of sneakers is without a doubt a great casual look. But what if you replaced your trusted sneakers with a pair of loafers instead? You will be surprised how easy it is to elevate your outfit by doing so. And yes, the teddy will complete the look.
