Lets admit it: we just can’t do without denim. It’s good to have at least a few pieces besides jeans, of course, because they are very practical and handy in our everyday lives. We can create gorgeous styles in combination with blouses, high heels, sneakers, basic T-shirts, or sweaters. Denim is an iconic look and perhaps now’s the time of year, when you’re considering a new purchase, because the stores are already full of new fall collections. I chose three pieces for you, which you can start wearing now; and all of them are ideal to wear throughout the season with the help of a few tricks and accessories. Additionally, if you appreciate a style with a hint of crazy, I advise you opt for ruffles and appliques, even on jeans.
Denim shirt
You can wear it as an evening jacket now, in combination with a basic white T-shirt or the eternal striped T-shirt. Wear it individually later on, with a maxi skirt or a pair of white jeans, where it will play a key part. The cooler season really is all about denim.

Denim dress
Whether it’s maxi, midi or knee-length, it always looks great, and even better off-shoulder. You can wear it solo now that the temperatures are still mild, and style it with knitwear or a jacket later on, even a short bomber jacket is a good look. Opt for darker denim, because lighter shades are more suitable for the summer, making it harder to wear later in the season.

Jeans with a twist
Now is their time; whether they’re cropped or have a fringe hem, applique, lace or other embellishments, they always look best with a simple white T-shirt and high heels or ballet flats. Later, well, you know, just throw on a knitted sweater and a leather jacket, add a velvet piece and you’re all set for a marvellous autumn. Dare to test the limits, when it comes to jeans; they shouldn’t be too ordinary!
