My Wishes for 2026: A Year of Light, Presence, and Growth

As 2025 comes to an end, I feel the energy shifting around me. There’s a weight in the air, yes, but also a strange sweetness—like a pause before something expansive. It’s the kind of energy that takes your breath for a moment, but not in fear. In awe. A prelude. A quiet invitation to step into something new.
Numerologically, 2026 is a Universal Year 1, the beginning of a fresh nine-year cycle. It is a year that whispers of new beginnings, courage, clarity, and first steps. But before anything can truly begin, something must end. And that ending is not always dramatic; sometimes it’s felt in the quiet release of what no longer serves us, in the gentle shedding of old patterns, in the spaces we leave open for the unknown.

This is why my wishes for 2026 are different from past years. They are quieter. More intentional. More soulful. 2026 is not a year for rushing. It is a year for presence, for listening, for truly hearing oneself. I wish to honor the soft voice within—the one that knows the truth even when the world is loud, even when society demands speed and performance. This is not a year for proving ourselves. It is a year for being fully present. To inhabit our own lives, our own bodies, our own hearts. To recognize what no longer belongs to us and release it without guilt or hesitation.

Spiritually, 2026 calls for a deep connection with our intuition. The quiet, often overlooked whisper of the soul becomes louder, guiding us toward what is authentic. This is a year for greater self-awareness, for listening to the inner voice, and for living in alignment with who we truly are. It is a year to honor the wisdom that has been passed down to us—from the women who came before, from the experiences that shaped us, from the still, unseen currents of life that hold us steady when we feel lost.

A Simple Ritual to Welcome 2026

I have been drawn to a small, personal ritual that grounds me in this powerful transition. In the quiet of the evening, I light a candle on my altar. A white candle for clarity, a black candle for protection and boundaries. I sit without distractions, without music, without phone. Just me. And I breathe. I say, or simply think: “I am ready to see clearly. I am ready to hear myself.” Nothing more is needed. The ritual is not about magic outside of us—it is about creating space within us to connect, to receive, and to begin anew.

Slowing Down as a Sacred Act

If the end of 2025 left you feeling heavy, exhausted, or sensitive, know that this is not weakness. It is awareness. It is a sign that your body, mind, and spirit are ready to realign. If we try to move as we did before, the body will resist. One of my deepest wishes for 2026 is that we honor that resistance. Not as a barrier, but as a guide. A gentle insistence to move with consciousness, with care, and with the kind of patience that allows life itself to unfold.

I wish for 2026 to bring light that heals—not the glaring, flashy kind, but the soft, sustaining kind. Light that reminds us of our truth. I wish for more authentic conversations, more quiet moments without discomfort, more space for feeling fully alive. Most of all: 2026 will not tell you to move faster. It will say: “Be more you.” If you have felt lost, overwhelmed, or in a process of deep change, take heart. You are not behind. You are being prepared. These experiences are not accidents. They are invitations.
2026 is a year to answer those invitations with presence, trust, and openness. To step forward with courage, guided by intuition, and to embrace life in its deepest, most authentic form.
