Looking at the new, Zimmermann fall campaign with German model Julia Stegner, I can just say: boho is still here! Ok, I have to admit that the brand is very well known for its boho, romantic pieces now and forever, but September will bring a lot of chicness and cuteness to our wardrobe, even if we can’t afford Zimmermann. The fact is that we all love the boho chic vibe that came a couple of years ago and made every single woman look so effortlessly nice and sweet. It is all about flowers, nice textures, bright colours, long waves, ruffles and prints.
The boho chic style was all the rage in the ’60s and early ’70s and has seen a revival in the last few years because of celebrities like Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and the Olsen Twins. They’ve embraced this natural look and added their own touch of glitz and glam for a more hippie-luxe look. Boho is fun to wear, but you have to style it without looking like you’re stuck in the ’70s. It has to be fresh, cute, girly and modern, add lace, bows and velvet (Fall is the velvet season!). Try a maxi dress, you might like it, even with some nice boots and a small bag.
Large standout pieces of handmade jewelry in natural materials like leather, turquoise, beads, and precious stones bring this look to life. Hoop earrings and long funky pendants are classic boho fashion. The more unique the piece, the better.
