Can you tell us about your journey into the entertainment industry and what inspired you to pursue a career in production?
I’ve always loved movies, and my biggest dream was to make real big films. Since my background was far removed from that dream world, I began my journey by taking small jobs on modest sets. It wasn’t until 2018, when I landed a tiny role at the Cannes Film Festival, that I truly realized this world could become someone’s reality.
Working on Emily in Paris must be exciting! What’s your favorite part about bringing this series to life?
Working on a show like this is incredibly exciting, but also very intense. My favorite part is getting to see the most unique and beautiful places in Paris—and now in other cities—while meeting amazing people along the way.
How do you maintain creativity when juggling various roles and responsibilities on set?
I believe that problem-solving ultimately fosters creativity, but most of my tasks are more administrative on this show.
Paris is iconic in Emily in Paris. Do you have a favorite filming location or set from the show?
I can tell you about some of the most memorable locations in Paris for me — it was watching the sunrise with the entire crew from the top of the Eiffel Tower, filming on the main court at Roland Garros, working in the legendary Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, and discovering one of Paris’s hidden gems like Square de l’Opéra Louis Jouvet.
What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in production, and how have you overcome them?
The biggest challenge I face at work is maintaining a healthy balance between my physical and mental well-being. To handle long hours and interact with many people, I need to protect my energy levels and stay disciplined.
How do you balance work and self-care in such a demanding industry?
Indeed, this is the hardest thing for me because work occupies the majority of my time and thoughts. I believe the healthy approach is to always remember that it’s just a job, and physical and mental health should be the priority. However, I haven’t mastered that balance perfectly yet.
Can you share any upcoming projects or goals you’re excited to pursue in the future?
I have always wanted to direct, and now I am developing my second short film. It’s an entirely new genre for me! I hope to secure funding soon and have the chance to turn my vision into reality.
