“Stay visible! Once women pass a certain age, they don’t get looked at anymore,” says Grece Ghanem, a 53-year old personal trainer from Montreal, without so much as a sigh of self-pity. “I don’t take that into account. I still wear things in a fun way. I don’t have to disappear.” Well, I don’t think Grece will never ever disappear, she loves fashion too much and has this pure, individual style that makes her so unique. She is not “another copy of”, she is just herself.

She loves denim, big sun glasses like Anna Wintour, white hair, Balenciaga sneakers and Gucci belts. She has a huge collection of bags, love jacket and pants. But most of all she is one of us. A woman in love with colours and femininity, a woman to be inspired by, because her style is true and good enough to become our style. Nothing gets discarded; she still has pieces from back when she was a student in Beirut in the early ’80s. And nothing ever gets hashtagged.
