New year, new wardrobe? A fresh page on the calendar is a convenient excuse to refresh your closet if you want one. If you wear a budget-friendly piece with really nice accessories, people just assume it’s high quality; January is a nice period to go shopping, because you will find a lot on sale. There are great chances to get super wow pieces and evend deigner stuff, if you are quick and lucky enough. Even if I am not a big fan f the sale season, I have to admit that there are always chances to make some good deals that last forever. These are some ageless pieces you might want to have.
- Jeans are a great investment – Jeans are the first place I encourage clients to upgrade. Once you experience a flattering cut, unique washes, and exceptional denim quality with a perfect amount of stretch, it’s hard to go back (especially when you see how good your backside looks).
- Beautifully crafted shoes can last decades – Well-crafted, comfortable shoes can upgrade any outfit. They can last for years and your future self will thank you when you hit the dance floor, looking incredible, still wearing your gorgeous shoes.
- Handbags are a must-have accessory – Look for strong stitching and durable materials like leather. Avoid anything that looks plastic, appears to be glued together, or has stray threads around the stitching.
- Be sure to get a solid, warm coat – Camel is always the right choice.
- Blouse and shirts are never enough – The white ones, the romantic ones, you will wear them forever and they always appear elegant, fresh, classy. And no, they are never enogh.
- High waisted pants – Elegant and feminine, amazing with ballerinas, high heels or sneakers. They make your waist look thin.
Last thing: be smart and shop on a budget!
