Paris is one of those cities that never ceases to amaze. It’s like a dream you walk through—where every street, every corner, and every scent tells a different story. I visited with my family and, although I had been before, the city touched my heart in a new and deeper way this time. The Eiffel Tower, with its elegant grandeur, was the first to welcome us. Seeing it sparkle at night takes your breath away—a kind of magic suspended between sky and earth. Then there’s Montmartre, with its bohemian soul and the majestic Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, perched high above the city. The view from there looks like a watercolor painting. Walking through the narrow streets, listening to street musicians, and indulging in a warm crêpe was an experience I’ll never forget.

Paris is also made of cozy bistros, wrought iron chairs, the smell of butter and freshly baked baguettes. Every meal felt like a small celebration. We tasted crisp croissants, onion soup, quiches, and dreamy desserts like Ladurée’s macarons and a perfect tarte au citron eaten under the gentle shade of a tree while the city flowed softly around us. And of course, the shopping: Parisian boutiques are heaven for fashion lovers. From the right bank to the left, between famous names and hidden gems, there’s an effortless elegance in the air. The Parisian women are something else entirely. Effortlessly chic, with that signature white blouse and red lipstick look, they seem to glide through life with understated grace. I watched them with admiration—natural, refined, always a step ahead.

While we were there, we were lucky to experience the Fête de la Musique—France’s nationwide music celebration. Every corner of Paris was alive with sound. From jazz quartets on the banks of the Seine to DJs in hidden courtyards, the city pulsed with rhythm and joy. It felt like every street had its own soundtrack, and for a moment, we were part of something greater, something truly alive.

Paris through my eyes was poetry and color, sound and flavor, style and warmth. It’s a city that gets under your skin with elegance—and never lets go. I know that every time I return, she’ll show me a new face, always beautiful.
