I know what you’re thinking: tulle skirt is just another term for tutu, and there’s no way you’re wearing one. But, bear with me now, because you might be missing out. You can pair it with tights and a blazer for the nine-to-five, or wearing your skirt with a knitwear top for a cool night out. You can even make tulle edgy with a leather jacket and graphic tee. Too long and you lose any sense of shape; too short and you cross the line into ballerina territory. I suggest just below the knee, with swathes of soft layers of tulle to give it movement, without making it too voluminous. These days I am celebrating life, so I opted for a light blue combination, polka dots and a touch of black. High heels always remind me of a princess, so I wanted to play with a touch of romantic, which is not bad at all.
My style is as follows: skirt ChicWish, knitwear Zara, bag Max Azria, shoes SJP Collection, ring with the white stone Monica Vinader, ring with the blue stone Bronzallure.
