You’ll notice it everywhere, because this is the colour that will take us boldly into the summer, while still dominating late spring outfits. Personally, I think it suits everyone, but it’s a highly subjective question, because I recently heard a stylist say that nobody looks good in it. So, a matter of personal taste, I suppose. I can see it on fair complexion women as well as on darker skin tones and I also adore it on men‒it always seems to give them a sexy undertone. What I like best is that it looks gorgeous in combination with powder pink and golden accessories: all signs of a top choice, one that makes me happy and content.
There are many army patterns, even camouflage versions, but those are more difficult to style, so I’d like to focus on the monochrome pieces such as jackets. These are usually cotton, although I’ve noticed some cute army green satin bomber jackets, which are very wearable. Cotton jacket is a piece you style with jeans and it’s perfect to wake up your inner child, because you can accessorize brooches and patches to make it totally your own. Opt for brooches with a hint of gold, the bigger and louder, the better. Every possible glitter is allowed, if not necessary this season‒and I’m not one to complain about that, I guess I’m a bit of a magpie.
If you dare to take it a step further, style your army motifs with dots or stripes: it’s a conflict of motifs, but it can be interesting precisely because it’s a mismatch. Lace is another good option, because it’s feminine and light and it will add a touch of grace to the outfit. Army green goes really well in combination with white or beige: white jeans and army green jacket is a nice style, or a fitted beige knee-length dress with the same jacket. It’s better to opt for smaller pieces, such as a jacket or cargo pants, than a whole outfit, because I don’t suppose you’re headed to the shooting range in the woods, are you? One piece will do.
Similar to a jeans or leather jacket, the army style is quite compatible with the wardrobe. Even the Boho blouse loves it!

No wonder some trends out there are as strong as they can get and scream a certain power, empowerment, command, poise, attitude, rocknroll, courage – ALL in a very very very polished feminine and sexy sort of way. I mean, there is nothing hotter than a confident woman.
Nothing against the holy menswear trinity of black, gray, and navy, but green is every bit as versatile and a whole lot more surprising. Love it very much!

Across fashion week’s streets, bloggers and editors are seemingly obsessed with army green too, using the olive-inspired shade to add a utilitarian touch to their looks.
