Outside temperatures are still rather high these days and I believe many of you are nevertheless spending time at the office, so I chose five business outfits to give you some fresh ideas about dressing in this transitional season. It’s a mixture of summer and autumn fashion, and pieces that always come in handy. Fashion has been open to endless styling possibilities these past few years, so it’s all a matter of taste in my opinion, and body shape of course: your body is the best source at telling you what suits you and which are the pieces that fill you with confidence. This is my personal selection.

Fringe. This trend is still in and it seems to me that every woman has at least one piece with fringe detail. It’s usually a bag or high heel sandals, but you can also find very nice fringed midi skirts, and even jeans (for the perfect gypsy style), T-shirts and long cardigans. A piece with fringe is new, fresh, and useful at the same time, and I am more than happy to wear it to work.

A white set. In this case, let your imagination guide you; I’m all for culottes, because they’re new and comfortable, and you can also wear an ordinary two-piece set, perhaps a midi skirt, pants and blazer or a white dress. White is the colour of the summer and always refreshes our wardrobe, making it quite elegant.

Smart blouse and jeans. I can say without any further deliberation that a smart blouse and pants are a top combination, undemanding, very wearable and always chic. Try to play around with accessories and you’ll quickly find how even the most basic set can become elegant and trendy. You should have no problem finding a blouse, because there is an abundance of them this summer!

Wrap dress. It can be black, but personally, I would choose a different, livelier colour and even a print, if possible. This type of dress is highly feminine, usually knee length, making them so wearable and workplace appropriate. Choose a belted model which emphasises the waistline beautifully; these models are the most feminine and always in style.

Maxi dress. You can wear it with high heels or flat sandals, this model is always gorgeous and office appropriate. There is a myriad of them this summer, because extreme lengths are trending. This half gypsy, Boho style goes so well with high temperatures and I think there is never too many of these dresses, so find your favourite!
