If you’re a fan of classics, or simply always in a hurry, you’re going to love these. We’ve been seeing classic hairstyles for many years now, but still feel they’re beautiful, wearable and suitable for any occasion. Whether it’s an updo, wearing your hair down, bangs or centre parting, we can opt for all of them, for these are easy maintenance suave styles. What matters in the end is that the hair is clean and healthy, so always start with good care and a quality shampoo, not just any store-bought variety. Don’t forget, your hair is an investment for a youthful look!
Bangs
They frame the face, bring out your features and make the lines on the forehead much less visible. Bangs are always a good choice, but they do require a healthy complexion, otherwise you’ll breakout even more.
Braid
It’s beautiful, neat, and youthful, but it demands some length, otherwise it’s an impossible task. Opt for a braid when you’re in a hurry and you haven’t had a chance to wash your hair, this makes it even easier to accomplish. A piece of advice: don’t do it in front of a mirror, because the reflected image will just confuse you; instead, freestyle it and it will look perfect each time.
Low bun
Exquisite and a good alternative to a pony tail. Every hairdresser I have ever met told me that a low bun is timeless, and the perfect hairstyle for special occasions. At the same time, it’s absolutely appropriate for a normal day, when you happen to feel like wearing one. You can use a sponge or not, whichever you prefer, although the volume it provides is welcome.
Centre parting
Parting your hair down the middle is always a good style for medium to long hair, because it’s a simple retro look. It’s reminiscent of Boho style, which is widespread in fashion at the moment, so give it a try. The hair doesn’t have to be straight, it can be wavy or even messy. Let a natural look be your guide.
Bob
This is perhaps the most polished of all hairstyles and again, the hair doesn’t have to be straight, but even better a bit wavy, because everything is fashionable nowadays. You can have it cropped in the back or same length all around, depending on your preference. A bob may look too strict and serious with bangs, so when it comes to the front part of the hair, stick to moderation.

We fell in love with Connie Britton’s perfect blowout on Friday Night Lights, and the many styles she wore on American Horror Story and Nashville had our TV schedules filled with hair inspiration. Her beachy waves are an effortless style that needs minimal upkeep.
