There is a strong retro vibe present in this year’s fashion and our wardrobe is starting to get into the 70’s. It’s nothing new, rathermore of a trend that keeps coming back. I like it because it’s feminine, it brings with it countless floral prints, long skirts or dresses, wide-leg pants and that feeling that women are 100 % women, that we love our body, even if it’s less than perfect, we wear velvet and tartan and leather, where it’s necessary. The pieces are beautiful and timeless, although they may be somewhat more difficult to style to prevent looking outdated or old-fashioned. The winter usually comes bringing black and dark shades, but in this case, the rule almost doesn’t apply. Colors are on the daily menu and they’re more than welcome, so go ahead, indulge. Burgundy, green, golden, mustard, as well as crazy color combinations and prints. There is only onerule: don’t be too subtle, seen before or boring, because fashion is here for us to play with.
Footwear matters
And boots are the fashion accessory you need to have. While over the knee boots are interesting, you won’t wear them every day, so you can opt for an ordinary model, which reaches up to your knees, it can have a heel or a flat sole, has to be black (or in animal print, if you dare) and…show themoff! So boots and skirts or boots and dresses, it’s your new favorite combination.

Don’t go anywhere without it. Blazers, pants, suits, skirts. Whether it’s smooth or corduroy, it has to be velvet! The trend is similar to last year’s, but there’s actually even more of it. I like this style, because it’s sophisticated and it dictates very elegant pieces for day wear, which, of course, I like. Don’t forget about royal blue and burgundy.
Faux fur
If everything around you is fluttering, that’s a good sign! These jackets are excellent building blocks for great style and even the coats have a certain allure. However, attention: make sure it’s actually faux fur! Opt for colors and forget just for a moment that you’re a serious woman, because that isn’t always true, is it? A good piece won’t cost much and it will add a wonderful accent.

There are many different shades, and we wear them on our bodies, nails and lips. Red rocks, if you dare, of course!
