I’ve chosen some pieces that I think are a great pick, mostly because they help create awesome style. There are also some items for the soul, like an illuminating facial mist or nail polish. There’s some jewellery, some clothes, some white and other things. This summer is all about playfulness, so there are infinite possibilities, at least fashion-wise, and many among them will definitely ensure that you look prettier and younger. So what follows is my personal selection of top pieces.
Raffia bag
I wrote about it recently and the summer really demands it. It doesn’t have to be a designer piece, not at all, you can opt for a simple version for the beach, and with a little bit of imagination it will turn into the perfect everyday bag, perhaps even useful for an evening look.
Oversized earrings
I like the round ones with various pendants, but I have to advise you to keep it low-key at work, where there’s a certain dress code to follow. Still, it’s a bold piece of jewellery, an important part of good style, which beautifully accentuates the face.
Short jumpsuit
I adore it and I believe we don’t wear it often enough. It’s a must-have piece for vacations, and all the better, if it’s white. Personally, I opt for lace and natural, leather accessories, which complement it quite nicely.
Flat sandals
There are so many this year, they even outnumber high-heel sandals, which remain a must-have of the warm season, of course. Keep your feet perfectly pedicured, your nails polished and opt for gorgeous, comfortable models to keep up with the quick pace of a contemporary woman.
Nail polishes
Plural, because there are never enough of them! I would advise the tiny versions, because I find it makes more sense to have a wide variety of colours to choose from without spending too much money. Small bottles are also practical to pack, so indulge.
Off-shoulder top
I simply love them and I think they suit every woman; they look gorgeous with jeans as well as with a more elegant bottom piece, so we get a lot of wear out of them. Light colours will refresh your look, but there’s a certain charm to black as well. Not very summery, but always sophisticated.
Glow!
The name says it all! You should definitely have a few products with gold particles in your bathroom shelves, because they illuminate the skin beautifully and make it look supple. A lip-gloss, a bit of blush, and something for the cleavage and your arms; let it shine, because after all, the summer is the perfect time for glitter.
Lace top
Another feminine piece that is drop-dead-gorgeous. Make sure the lace is delicate and sophisticated, very elegant. I opt for jeans or even shorts to make sure I create a good contrast and a look that’s always welcome. Spaghetti straps are only appropriate for small busts, if the opposite is the case, they need to be wider.
Espadrilles
You’ve probably noticed them, because there are so many this year and they actually form their own style. I wasn’t sure at first, but I like the natural models, because they look, well, natural! Still, I don’t opt for full on platform soles that look like you’re going disco clubbing, because I believe a certain degree of elegance should be preserved.
White dress
Always and everywhere. Off-shoulder, lace, cotton, tulle, or silk … There are so many options and the lengths vary as well. Don’t forget, white keeps you much more fresh and elegant than other colours, so go for it, even if you’re not in perfect shape!

Wearing cute summer dresses with flip flops. My other summer must-have is a tan.
I’m kind of into floral prints right now. I don’t ever like sweet things, but when you wear them right, it’s very rock ‘n roll.
Anything white or linen. I just got back from Greece and I love the way white looks against all the colors there.
I’d have to say the jumpsuit. They’re super-cute and comfortable. I bought a bunch.
I like to wear as little as possible! Sundresses, I live in sundresses.
