There are quite a lot of different trends going on this spring. As you know I am a big lover of pastel, bright colors, but the hot season will not be just about happiness and lightness. If you love black and the dark side of your witchy personality, well, here we go: black in the new black and that’s all. Wear it on your favorite suite, on the pleated skirt and midi dress, on your leather jacket and boots, or you can opt for a super sheer and sexy piece like the lace blouse. If it looks like a Victorian one even better! Like its opposite, black is a definite color. It’s the color of borders, and of authority. Though we have many negative associations with black, we also find it intriguing.
Black represents evil, darkness, night, and despair. It’s the color used to convey certainty and authority, and when used in opposition with white, it’s a symbol of the eternal struggle between day and night, good and evil, and right and wrong. We think of black as sophisticated and serious. It’s the preferred color for much formal attire, and the little black dress is a classic piece of attire that’s timeless and always appropriate. Black is unambiguous, definite. It’s not easily misunderstood, and in design it’s dramatic and helps create a feeling of certainty. Despite our urge for colour in Spring, wearing black can still look fabulous.

Black is lazy and easy, but mysterious. But above all black says this: I don’t bother you, don’t bother me.
