Perhaps this is the trend I am looking most forward to, mainly because it highlights femininity and allows us to become even more free, playful and romantic in the summer. I like the fact it’s a trend that very inteligently mixes the 70’s (still trendy) and vintage pieces, while offering a lot of romance and a pinch of contemporary. It’s all reinvented in a new way; pay attention to lengths, the midi is on its way and it’s as pronounced as ever. Pastels take the center stage, there is an abundance of viscose and silk. The accessories play a big part as they follow the romantic guidelines, so you have shoes, bags, belts, headbands and other floral things; the flowers look like they’re made of sugar, which is why I almost feel like it’s wedding fashion.
Blouses also play an important role, and I always believe they’re a smart buy, because you’ll be able to wear them a lot, even with jeans or in the winter with a cardigan, they also never go out of style and are multifunctional. A lace dress is another interesting piece about to go through a revival: you will not regret buying one! Try aiming for a different colour, not the already seen black, and let go of the belief that lighter colours make you seem wider, because it’s just not true. Alwas pay attention to the shoes: pumps or flats, there are many extremely innovative and rich models to choose from, full of embellishements that systematically make sure your outfit stands out. There are also transparent fabrics, which I personally like very much, but we shouldn’t go overboard with them, because the essence needs to stay hidden from the eyes … in more ways than one.
I am a great supporter of the 70’s style dresses and the scent of the flower-power spirit; if it were up to me, we would all be walking around with flower headbands and spaghetti straps, maybe because the style is so leisurely. I also believe that pieces like this are quite wearable and gorgeous even with sandals or sneakers, that’s a part of their charm. I feel like we all want to wear comfortable outfits, but it doesn’t mean we’re prepared to forgo the sexy, feminine note. Well, this style of dresses are a combinaton of all these elements, which makes them a truly an excellent choice. To finish, I give you a hint of another piece that will leave a big mark on summer fashion: culottes. Not monochromatic, but floral or in different patterns in pastel colours, which are really wonderful. My advice: wear them with high heels to get the best out of them. But in the end, what matters most is that you feel your best and most beautiful.

Too saccharine for me, but it was a cool reading!
And then add loose waves, delicate skin and perfectly flushed cheek…:-)
