It’s a place to discover forbidden things, to find a new femininity, to admire the perfection od the silk blouses, plissé skirts, super tailored jackets and leather bags hand made in Africa. Yes, my family and I lived there during my childhood, the memories are still strong and I truly admire all the things, accessorise, furniture, batiks and more we have from Ghana. And this style adventure started in a really funny way; I was visiting my mom and drinking coffe together, I told here we were about to shoot a new fashion styling, but I had no idea what to wear. So she replied: Well, open my closet and choose whatever you want, I think you will find interesting things. I am just stunned when I think about the ageless beauty of her wardrobe, with pieces that never go out of style, I admire her taking care of every single blouse, even if she wore them while I was at the elementary school. Yes, long time ago, but you know what? In my eyes fashion is sustainable and intelligent when it never goes out of style, when you don’t have to talk about trends and search for IT girls or street style, you exactly know which are the good pieces that always work. And let me just add that my beautiful mom is 81. What a woman!
My style is as follows: ice coat Raffaello, blouse Nara camicie, hand made skirt, shoes Bogart, hand made bag, earrings Asos, bracelets Mia Miami, rings Asos and Gold Philosophy.
