Ten summer pieces you can’t do without

This is actually my list so I sincerely hope you’ll like it. This summer has a lot in store, because the fashion is quite effortless and simple in a certain way, romantic and playful. I like the fact that it enables each woman to show her most feminine side. I get the feeling that there won’t be anything unexpectedly new, however the combination of everything together with the pieces we are wearing is something quite different. I chose ten pieces I find exciting and that will be very trendy this summer; from shoes to the slip on dress, here is my list.

Open back dress or top

Not only off the shoulders, open back is another appealing trend. It looks sexy, feminine and slightly sultry, which makes these pieces so likeable. And a red dress would definitely create a spark to my wardrobe.

Softly falling trousers

Wide and softly falling high waisted trousers are making a comeback ‒ so comfortable and feminine. Wear them with blouses, which makes them the most elegant. I like the idea of this type of trousers in an unusual, pastel colour or completely white.

Ethno dress

Don’t go anywhere without it! It’s quite summery and romantic, of course: wear it with flat sandals or slippers. There should be no problems in the print and colour department, because there is a myriad of different choices. I opt for for lighter models personally, because they look even better with tanned skin.

Unusual sunglasses

When, if not in the summer? Get something bizarre and whimsical such as coloured glass, stars, animal print or unusual shapes. Sunglasses need to be playful, so don’t spend too much for them but rather have more than one fun different pair, at least for the summer.

Lace sandals

I love the nude look, it seems so sexy and attractive. High and thin heels are a must; and even though this is an evening model ‒ there are plenty opportunities for a summertime party under the stars, so I know I would wear them often.

Flat and comfy sandals

I quite like these models as well, and all the better if they’re made of leather. They are a welcome addition to the wide array of long dresses and skirts, and I especially like to wear them with floor length pieces. They can have an embellishment or two, but I find the completely plain ones the most beautiful.

Crop top dress

Since my time for wearing crop tops is over, I believe a dress with this type of top that still covers the belly, is a good choice. White remains my favourite and the lace makes sure the whole look is very romantic and elegant. The dress should be knee length.

Slip on dress

I adore it, because it looks like an evening dress and I’ve always loved this look. If it has some lace, all the better; it’s gorgeous with high heels and a blazer, as well as with sneakers or sandals. Simple, quick and very practical.

Gladiator sandals

I thought they would have gone out of style by now, but I don’t get the feeling there are any less of them … there are actually quite a lot of interesting models, and I’m glad. The flat ones are the best and I usually wear them all summer long, which gives me the perfect reason to buy new ones.

Heels and tassels

They’re really sexy! I like the movement around my ankles and I’m all about bold colours, and since you can never own too many high heels (or shoes in general), these are precisely the models that can brighten your wardrobe and boost your confidence. You know, walking in such high stilettos is just something unique.
