There are no two ways about it. We are all spending more time at home than ever before. With new posts each day, influencers, editors and celebrities are showing us exactly what working from home and social distancing looks like for them, and it’s a lot more than just tattered old hoodies and jogging bottoms. Whether you’re working from the home office, desk, dining table or bedroom floor, it’s ok to take care about what you wear, because fashion is also about taking yourself to higher levels.
Long top with leggings
This is always a good idea. Enough light and comfy to play with your kids, do their homework, talk on Skype and write your stuff. Nothing feels comfier when you are sitting for hours at a computer than stretchy, soft leggings. But they can easily make you look and feel frumpy too. The trick is to wear them with something other than your basic workout tee.
A nice pair of jeans
Choose a high waisted model, in light blue or white, because Spring is here, so you have to play with bright shades. Avoid the skinny jeans, it is not healthy on your skin and you will not feel good while sitting all day long. Play with a nice shirt, use stripes and polka dots, they always add an elegant touch, even if you are at home.
The cotton dress
Another nice solution. It is very nice and useful, plus you are at home, so I guess the ambient is heated and you are not having any issues with the cold. Midi is the right length, play with bold colour and yes, use some nice piece of jewellery, like a nice necklace or a big pair of earrings. Gold is the colour.
Flowy pants, but avoid the pajama
I think the pajama is nice and cool, but don’t wear it all day long. It will make you feel ill and like if you are on a strange, long vacation. You have to dress and take care of yourself. So instead of a pajama, choose a nice pair of flowy, loose pants. Pair them with a very simple tee and a cardigan. You can add a nice brooch or some piece of jewellery.
Stay safe and calm, everything will be fine.
