You’ll recognise them straight away, because they do look a lot like sweat pants or the most comfortable of lounge pants. There is another advantage: you don’t have to wear them with sneakers, because they look just as great with ballet flats and heels, and it’s actually the heels that make them especially alluring. Track pants are made of soft jersey cotton, and the latest models are leather or silk (for special occasions), they have a draped waist line, are tapered and usually have a cropped length. Once you put them on, you won’t want to take them off, because they feel like wearing pyjamas. After all, a little comfort, even in fashion, never hurts anybody, does it?

Since joggers are so popular right now, you can find many versions, but the basic model remains the same. Street fashion is a treasure chest of ideas, so the web is our source of inspiration. Style joggers with loose T shirts, blazer, small bag, romantic blouses. They allow for many combinations, it all depends on your personal style and the occasion; I personally love them with stilettos, but you may get some more stares in the street, if the look hasn’t reached your part of town 🙂 They look good with sneakers, of course, making it the most sporty and youthful look, so it may not be appropriate for the workplace, especially if there is a dress code to follow. Feel free to play around with jewellery, even elegant pieces, which will complement these pants beautifully.

I am all for the leather versions, which have amazed me this year … Similar goes for cropped pants: they look wonderful in leather, because they come off as aggressive and chic at the same time, which is a look I love. Another thing that makes joggers a good choice is that they’re half way between casual and elegant, depending on the way you style them. They’ re appropriate for evening occasions and workplace, for walks in the nature or a dinner with your girlfriends. The glittery models are extremely interesting, as evening wear of course, but we also notice them in the streets during the day on the most confident women. I am an avid supporter of experimenting with fashion now and then, so opt for something daring and so different, so that we’re visible from the moon!
