My personal top pieces of the cold season

I will chase them on sales, even though you usually buy the good pieces at full price and you never regret it. This year’s winter will be very fashionably coloured, and not only this, it will have so many beautiful pieces that I fell in love with all of its suggestions and would be more than happy to treat myself to them. At the same time, I like a wardrobe that nonchalantly mixes evening and daytime pieces, offers outfits that you can wear to work, dinner with your friends or a walk around town, because the magic of fashion is that it makes our life easier and allows us to be even more beautiful. It’s difficult to make a short list when I think about the top pieces of this winter, because I like a great many of the suggestions, and here are my favourite. What can I say? Yummy.

Ballet flats in velvet. Since I already have many pairs of sandals with sky-high heels, lace and fringes, and each one is wonderful in its own way, I realise that I do not have ballet flats yet. I like a brisk and comfortable step, so this type of flats would be ideal.

The blouse with frills. Sexy and romantic, either on bare skin or with a lace bra, but above all ‒ suitable for all occasions. The colour must necessarily be white or ivory and so delicate that it’s reminiscent of your grandmother’s nightgown. Insanely beautiful.

Marine jacket. It allows for a lot of combinations, but my favourite is the boyfriend jeans and high heels. I like gold buttons and the length, because it is a little shorter … The brand is Balmain and I think it shows, doesn’t it?

Plain white blouse. Because there are never enough of them and I like men’s models because they seem so sexy. Its combinations are limitless and you can never strike out with it; it looks beautiful with an elegant suit or with jeans, it’s all a matter of an agreement.

High collar pullover. Camel is absolutely wonderful and very wearable, probably because it is one of the colours of this year’s winter. It’s warm, comfortable and just the right fit, the only downside is that this type of knitwear is rather sensitive, and I just throw everything into the washing machine, so I often make a massacre./a mess of things.

Trench. Nowhere without it and it’s still an excellent investment, so go ahead and get one. My favourite colour is beige, but I also like the dark blue trench coats, because they seem very elegant. Burberry is a must-have, but other brands are very beautiful and proper as well.

Leather Jacket. Multifunctional and very practical, it is never out of fashion and always comes in handy. The only downside is that it doesn’t keep you warm, but it’s useful around the office and when it gets warmer it’s going to be very wearable.

Cocoon coat. The sort that wraps itself around you like a hug; and, of course, it must also be right colour. I prefer camel, as well as for all other pastel shades; I would not wear black at the moment, perhaps only because it has already been seen so much.

Striped T-shirt. This is a top piece that you simply must have; I have such a large collection of these shirts in my closet that it’s getting a bit embarrassed; there really are a lot of them. But I also wear them, so buying them is justified. White and dark blue, white and black, white and red: these are my top combinations.

Longer jacket. Very wearable, another piece that you will be able to wear almost until summer. It’s also beautiful with jeans and all possible combinations in black. Try it with black leather pants as well: a top piece of this year’s winter.

Very beautiful, fitted blazer. The one that you see from a mile away, because it is so well tailored and fitted, as if it were custom made. Yes, there are those, but you can’t find them in H&M. It is a piece that requires a little bit more money, but it is worth every penny, because it is seasonless.
