We’ve noticed them at fashion weeks around the world and we realise they’re spot on for this season. The fall season is here, but we can still enjoy the last rays of sunshine, as if the summer has not left yet, which is nice. The streets were full of It Girls deciding between summer and fall wardrobe, and their decision was often a mix and match of everything, a conglomerate of warm and cool, and the colours moved from summer to fall, there was an neormous amount of jeans, and what really caught our eye was the fact that women put a lot of emphasis on accessories, such as shoes and bags, which is a novelty in itself. This time we’re going to say a few things about current trends, how to stay fashionable, en vogue and beautiful, of course.

Layering

Simply wear things on top of others, because it’s the perfect way to get the most out of the summer pieces. All you need is some imagination and a lot of good taste. So if you decide to onion and go with layers, don’t overdo it.

Sweatshirts

Or hoodies, taken from his closet, ideal for a winter run or something along those lines. But you’ll style them with feminine pieces, like a knee-length pencil skirt, elegant trousers (long or short) and, yes, even high heels. Find the contrasts.

We live in a denim era and we see it everywhere, so jeans, quite expectedly, evolved into something more. There is a myriad of possibilities: cropped, fringed, studded, laced, boyfriend, skinny, mom-jeans and that’s not even all. So which to choose? The ones that make you look better and are 100 % comfortable.

A pleated skirt is a wonderfully feminine thing, so don’t dismiss it. It can be just a skirt or a dress that opens and closes beautifully with each step. Pleats also look gorgeous in contrasting colours, which intensify the effect of every movement.

Always low, whether they’re open or closed, they seem like slippers, they’re as comfortable as ballet flats, and still brand new. Loafers remind us of our grandfathers’ shoes, which is why they came into our lives on a wave of negativism, but in the end we still got used to them. Just like a handbag, you can wear an evening dress during the day, and it’s completely alright, if you know how to dramatise it. The trick? For instance with a leather or denim jacket, flat footwear or a nonchalant updo. The dress can be long, just make sure to compliment it with flats.

Summer bags

Like baskets or the vibrantly colourful daytime variations, which smell of summer. Use them to enliven winter and fall outfits, but store them away when it starts raining or snowing outside … however, they can be a welcome change of pace for the season inbetween.

Burgundy, royal blue or green, here comes velvet, so brace yourself for a tidal wave of wonderful accessories. A blazer is a must have ‒ you’ll wear it a lot with jeans, which makes it a worthy investment. Then, there are shoes and bags, all of which help create a very chic and elegant vibe, and not just for special occasions, because, when you think about it, every day is a special occasion!
