I sincerely hope that you know by now that fashion is here to help us. And if you have anextra couple ofpounds or you’re heavy set, please, don’t fret, because there is a solution for everything and this is no exception. I also think you’ve figured out I’m not going to advise wearing black or clothes tailored like tents. That is not me and you would not be either content or happy, if I told you to wear shapeless clothes. My darlings, the spring has arrived and it’s the perfect opportunity to pluck up your courage and try to catch some trends, above all some color, romance, sweetness, and femininity, flying around in the air. I chose various styles for you and I really hope you’ll find some helpful advice in the mix.
White lace Boho blouse
It’s straight cut, smooth, cotton and simple. The lace does its part, of course: the sleeves, breast pocket, collar, hem; it’s a detail that has to be there. Wear it with jeans and find all the advantage of a loose and useful cut, which won’t restrict you, and the length is perfect to wear over the pants, which I know can come in handy.
Prints and ruffles
In principle, these can be too much, when a woman is heavy set, but there are so many this season that you won’t be able to avoid the trend. So, how to wear it best? First rule: no ruffles over the belly. Second rule: don’t be afraid of colors or prints, they’re there for you to wear. Third rule: head-to-toe or color blocking is okay, if you feel up to it. Don’t forget, it’s all in your head!
Bold colors for accent
I think colors are closely related to the personality of the woman wearing them. Opt for intense tones, because they can complement you nicely. Theycome in handy and it’s best to style them with stripes, polka dotsor flowers, even though a monochromatic outfit can bejust as interesting, especially a suit ora dress. Mind thatthe waist line is visible, don’t opt for a straight cut, because it will make you look heavier. For example, a shirt dress is okay, but wear it with a belt to make a clear distinction between the lower and upper part of the body.
Black and white, lace and polka dots
Even everything at once, why not. Black and white really are mistake-proof, it’s a safe and very useful color combination. Style a little black dress with pearls or a polka dot scarf. Speaking about polka dots, it’s a very classy, classic and elegant pattern, which never looks outdated.
New generation suit
As I’ve mentioned before, color blocking is a good option for suits. You’ll stand out more, of course, but why wouldn’t you? It makes no sense to hide in the crowd, because you’re beautiful, and if you feel like you could use a bit more confidence, you should know that each of us has her own world and there is no such thing as perfection. Trust me, you can opt for colorful and bold outfits, as long as you feel confident inthem. And don’t let anybody else tell you what’s too much, because you’re the only one that gets to make that decision. You alone.
The importance of jackets, coats, trenches and blazers
They have to be noticeable, beautiful, different. It’s good to have a few pieces in your wardrobe that stand out. It’s essentialto have a beige trench, but perhaps you could also wear a white one, or red, even pink. Similar is true for blazers and other top layers; play around with colors and style them with basic dresses or trousers. It’s good to have one piece that stands out, you’ll bring out your beauty that way.

Don’t buy “tent” clothing. Clothes that are too big might seem like they’re doing you a favor by hiding your body, but they’re actually communicating a lack of confidence. Instead, buy what fits and rely on colors, patterns and embellishments to draw the eye away from your flaws.
To lose a bit of girth around your hips and thighs, wear low-legged, high-waisted underwear in a firm, supportive cotton.
Don’t put ruffles on anything you want to look smaller; do put them on areas you want to emphasize. This means that anyone looking at you will be attracted to the area of emphasis.
If you’re overweight and you want to build a strong wardrobe, use light colors to draw people’s eyes to areas you like while camouflaging your least favorite attributes with dark colors. Stick to small prints, since large prints can make you look bigger, and choose diagonal and vertical stripes over unflattering horizontal stripes. You can also wear well-fitting, supportive undergarments under your outfit to prevent unflattering lines or bulges!
