Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has been unveiled as the official face of PrettyBallerina’s Spring Summer 2020 campaign. The company’s decision to select Alessandra stemmed from her relatable ‘superwoman’ status: beneath the glitz and glam of the runways and parties, she is a cosmopolitan woman who strives to seek a balance between her stressful professional life and her international travels with her family. Just like the modern woman, constantly striving to make the most out of her day, Alessandra also chooses Pretty Ballerinas for its comfortable and sleek design suitable for her hectic lifestyle.
She believes that “presenting herself on the red carpet in a pair of totally red ballet shoes feeling as attractive and as sexy as in a pair of heels because to look amazing you don’t have to suffer,” says Ursula Mascaró, Creative Director of the Group. As such, Pretty Ballerinas has come together with the Brazilian supermodel to fashion 12 designs for 12 looks, created especially for 12 moments of Alessandra Ambrosio’s life. They are the core of a collection that inspires nights of glamour, and days of freshness, sensuality and joy.
Colours, amazing shades, animal prints, giant bows and stones are the main elements of the summer collection. Beside the very traditional and classic models with the round toe, we find many sleep on and pointy models, which were a must have during the past summer. The brand originates from Minorca (Spain), where the Mascarò family founded its highly specialized footwear manufacturing company in 1918. Since 2005, thanks to fashion and marketing consultant and expert David Bell, Pretty Ballerinas is a fashion-minded high-quality ballerina brand.
The new collection is pretty and elegant as always, but be careful if you order your new Pretty Ballerinas online, because they run very small!

I love Pretty Ballerina shoes and was saddened when they left Melbourne Australia. I would love to buy more but would like to ring a store not shop on line. Could you let me know how to contact and where the closest retail store from Melbourne is.
I thank you in anticipation.

Dear Robynne, unfortunately I can’t help you, I will try to find out if there is any shop near you and let you know. Maybe the best way would be to contact them or order online. Hm, I have to admit that I ordered three pairs of Pretty Ballerinas through their web site and they were all really too small…so the best is still to find a shop and try them on!
