I love the combination of these two so different materials and I have many reasons to adore this style. First of all every kind of tulle reminds me of ballerinas and my sweet world when I was a child; classic ballet was my big passion and I stll admire the ballerinas universe. And then there is knitwear, soft, comfy and so cozy, a big trend of the winter season, but also something that it’s very wearable and useful. Many times you can file this girly combination in the fashion magazines, the important thing is to make tulle edgy with something different on the top, as knitwear or a leather jacket (always a good combination). Tutu skirt are not only for kids, just think about Carrie Bradshaw; she is known for a lot of things—like sipping on cosmos, whining about Mr. Big and even being a jerk — but she’ll forever live on in our hearts for being the woman who knows how to wear the hell out of a tutu. From the pink number in the opening credits to the flowing sea-foam green she wore when Mr. Big rescued her in Paris in Season 6, it seems like no one can rock a tulle skirt like Carrie. Ok, I tried 🙂
My style is as follows: skirt and knitwear Miss Sixty, bag and shoes Aldo, rings Gold Philosophy and Accessorize.
