I appreciate the fashion of the moment, because it can bring out the best and most beautiful side of every woman. It’s quite playful, romantic enough, contemporary, daring, and different. I’ve just started looking at things we’ll be wearing in a few months, but the fact is, there are no more seasons in fashion, and what is now winter can become spring, and vice versa. This time I chose a couple of styles I personally adore, and they contain a few new pieces that you may not have yet, but they will become quite trendy very soon. It’s a matter of taste, whether they’re worth buying or not. Personally, I believe that they are interesting, and particularly flattering on a woman’s body, if you style them the right way. On the other hand, it’s all about styling pieces that I’m sure are already in your closet. The important thing is to look at them from a new perspective, making them them more stylish.
Opt for colourful sweaters
There were a lot this year, but because the winter is usually dark, black, blue or brown, these flashes of colour are more than welcome. So, if you’re wearing jeans or a suit, a colourful sweater will make your outfit pop. And the colours can be loud: green, light blue, pink, red, orange, yellow.
A different coat
There are many interesting models, because it can only be a detail on the collar, sleeves, maybe colour or length. A coat is the first thing we see on the street, so it’s good to put some thought into it, as it is almost always a sound investment. Even if it’s black, as long as the cut is special.
Puff sleeves blouse
Get ready for a season of frills and puffed sleeves, which goes for blouses as well as trousers. Sleeves play the main role, and these blouses are lovely, they seem sort of old school and you can wear them separately, so the sleeve detail stands out most.
Classic black and white
You cannot go wrong with this combination, because it’s timeless. If you go all out, opt for a white blouse and black pants, wear high heels, add a string of pearls, and you’ll look perfect. It’s a combination we’ve all seen before, I know, but it will never go out of style, it’s delightful, and simply always works.
Plaid
It’s still around, so do wear it … You’ll still see it in the summer and next winter, it’s nice and wearable, and the best choice pieces are blazers, pants and tops. If you want to be completely in trend, opt for frill-hem pants or a frill-sleeve blouse. A crop top is another interesting choice, but this requires a fit body and flat stomach.
Romantic bow blouse
I just love this style, and there never enough of these blouses. Every model seems to have its’ own charm, and it’s great to see women wear them with elegant trousers or jeans. You can also use a separate strip of fabric and simply tie it around the collar, just make sure it’s wide enough and that it falls softly. The effect should be romantic.
Longer blazer and jeans
I love this style and I could wear it day and night. The one in the picture is Balmain, and I don’t think there is a more beautiful one out there. Unfortunately, the price is sky-high, but the combination of black with golden buttons that stand out, is marvellous. Style it with high heels and a clutch, like in the picture. The look is flawless and appropriate for every occasion.
Nice jeans, nice T-shirt
Another example of how the right pieces can look wonderful, even if there’s nothing so special about them, just a sweater and jeans. It’s smart to mind the quality of the wool, and the colour, shape, and length of the jeans, because not every model will fit every body type, which is perfectly normal. Try a high waist! Believe me, it’s a model you’ll love.
Crop pants and sneakers
It’s a look I adore, but I must caution you, it’s not right for every woman. It requires a certain height and slenderness, a bit of nonchalance, and almost always sneakers, because this type of pants can look strange with high heels. I also like oversized knitwear, because of the way it softly falls, but you have to know how to wear it. Well, perhaps just for a bit of inspiration …
