How to wear everything all white

You may already know, I make no exception nor am I afraid of it. It’s characteristic for the summer days, mostly, but I do really love it in the winter time as well; I believe it can make any woman look beautiful. I am a huge fan and it seems to me we can always opt for it it, it’s always appropriate. The only exception is going to a wedding, when it’s off limits because it belongs exclusively to the bride, as I’m sure you know. It’s also handy and beautiful head-to-toe in case of a fuller figure, provided you choose the right pieces that are tailored in the right way, and style them with some nice pieces of jewellery and other accessories.

Total white for evening occasions

White can easily be used instead of black, and it’s actually more appropriate for summer nights, when skin is nicely tanned. Style the look with small accessories and opt for: a maxi dress, a jumpsuit, a midi or A-line dress, a blouse with frills matched a high-waist skirt.

Jumpsuit

This may require some more enthusiasm, but personally, I think it’s a top choice piece that can be worn often. It’s not the most practical when going to the ladies’ room, but it’s still something fresh and welcome. Mind the lining, which should be part of the suit because of the bottom part, which should not be translucent.

Two-piece suit

For all the lovers of classics there are white two-piece suits and the good news is that a white blazer is a piece you’ll be able to wear with your jeans, not only the white trousers. Similarly to black, it’s very useful and always sets the right tone. A pair of low heeled sandals or sneakers are the perfect choice to wear with the white two-piece suit, and so are high heels, which we sometimes cannot avoid.

Daytime white

There are lots of white dresses to choose from and it seems to me it’s handy to have one in the closet, and a maxi dress as well. There’s lace, A-line cuts, frills and many other embellishments that are just perfect for summer days. Opt for cotton, because it’s the most useful and durable, but definitely don’t forget to add a romantic touch with some timeless lace.

Casual chic

I’m sure you’ll be able to find something in this department, because these outfits are easy to wear, and they’re often a combination of trousers, either shorts or crop pants, with a white blouse or a basic white T-shirt. Culottes are another great choice, which you can style with sneakers or low sandals.

Maxi dress

Not to be forgotten, because it’s a very important part of a summer wardrobe. Floor-length, smooth or lacy and extremely wearable. A maxi dress is a must-have piece and I am all for total white, because it’s a fresh look that gives you just the right amount of luxury and elegance.

At the beach

The beach is another place that requires white and perhaps it’s right to give a white swim suit some thought. Beach dresses can be completely see-through, because they’re supposed to be worn over a swim suit; it’s actually a caftan, which is totally light-weight, made of gauze or fine cotton. With a bit of imagination and lining, they can turn into everyday pieces. This is another instance where a lace hem is practically a must.

Every woman has her own style

Browse Pinterest for additional inspiration, because there is lots of white and you can often see it on celebrities, who know how to wear it beautifully. Add a leather bag and sandals, or something golden in the evening, and you’ll be perfect.
