No matter how many tips you try, you may find that you simply can’t focus once in a while. Part of living in the moment is being able to accept that you aren’t always in control of your ability to concentrate. When you’ve tried everything, the best way to recover is to give yourself a day or two to completely relax. Your goals aren’t going to go anywhere, it’s ok to take it easy once in a while. Forcing concentration will only lead to frustration. It might seem counterintuitive, but it’s better to take a break rather than keep pushing against a wall. It’s something to consider if you’ve exhausted your options. The end of the year is almost here, I love this special time, because it makes me write about myself, keep a gratitude diary and read constantly that life is such a big gift, precious and unique.

Life missions are the key aspects of your life that make it worth living. Fulfilling these missions is what gives your life meaning, joy, and completeness. A life mission can be to fulfill a goal or dream, like to become a children’s author. Or it can be a mission about your relationships to your family. It can be related to health, fitness, or other aspects of your life. Everyone has life missions, whether you know it or not. They’re programmed into your subconscious and the reason why you care deeply about certain things. But to really take control, you have to know what they are. You have to consciously recognize what makes you tick, what really makes you get out of bed each day.

You can’t mend every situation, and some mistakes might cost you a treasured relationship or close friend. Guilt combined with sadness over someone or something you’ve lost often feels impossible to escape. Before you can leave the past behind, you need to accept it. Looking back and ruminating on your memories won’t fix what happened. What you can always do and, yes, it works, is: be kind to yourself, practice gratitude, write down everything you have in your mind and heart, stary true to yourself, let go, remember that there is always a choice and a way out.

The problem is that most people believe they don’t have a choice. But they do. You have a choice. That’s why we believe in Compromising the Method, Not the Mission. There’s always a way. You can always change how you do things, instead of giving up on doing it. But to be able to have the choice, you need the right skills and the right mindset. First, you have to liberate yourself from winning or losing. It’s because we’re so afraid of loss that we never give ourselves the opportunity for true growth. A progress mindset doesn’t care about “success” or “failure”. It only cares about progress.
Take it easy once in a while, believe me: you deserve it.
